OUR STORY

For a long time, I had wanted to start my own business and I longed to be doing something more creative, but I was never able to find the time or the confidence to start my own business. Juggling two kids, mum duties and a part time role in Marketing and Design in the Tourism Industry, I found it hard to take the risk. Then COVID19 hit, and my partner and I found ourselves with a lot of extra time on our hands and dreams on our minds. With nothing to lose, and after spending a lot of time contemplating ideas, I was finally able to convince Denis, who is an Electrical Engineer by trade, to come on board with me on this little adventure. We had it all worked out - I would be the creative brains, take orders and run our marketing, and he would be the engineer, tinkering with the machines and thinking of new ways to grow and improve the business! Starting out, it was very important for us to include our kids in the whole process and make this a real family run business. Our daughter being our “spokensperson” with social media launches and our son proudly taking the role of ‘Sanding Manager’ and ‘Packaging Manager’. We are now so glad that we took the leap of faith and began mapping out our new dream.
